A new factor describing the load-bearing capacity of the structural members (e.g., beams, columns, truss members) connected in the designed joint has been added to all the design modes of the software.
A new tab, Interaction Curves, has appeared in all the design modes of the software. It enables to plot a family of graphs bounding the load-bearing capacity area of the joint depending on the selected pair of internal forces acting in the designed joint.
A new factor “Resistance of the base plate under bending caused by tensile forces in the anchor bolts” has appeared in the Nominally Pinned Column Bases mode.
The Nominally Pinned Column Bases mode enables to check the shear force transfer through friction at the contact between the base plate and the foundation concrete.
The checks of joints according to EN1993-1-1, EN1993-1-5 and EN1993-1-8 have been refined.
Loads transferred to the wing plates analyzed as cantilever beams have been refined in the Rigid Column Bases mode.
